The Best Street Style at Milan Men’s Fashion Week AW16

Milan Men’s Fashion Week has come to a close, with Italy’s best menswear brands debuting their Autumn/Winter ’16 collections. As usual, we were just as interested to see what was on the streets as the catwalk, and Italy’s fashion capital certainly didn’t disappoint. Cold temperatures called for thick layers, long coats, military-inspired bomber jackets and lots of beanies.

Overall the style was eclectic – from ’70s-inspired fur coats worn with brogues and sleek knee-high boots with tailored pieces for women, to slim-line all-black ensembles and layered sportswear pieces for men. Take a look at our favourite street style looks from Milan AW16 below, shot by photographer Adam Katz Sinding for W Magazine.

A fan of all things minimalist, I prefer to invest in a few simple pieces each season and am a big believer that you can never own too many pairs of black flats. I’m constantly on the search for the coolest new brands, so you’re most likely to find me surrounded by magazines when I’m not blogging. That, or binge watching Netflix.
