The Best Style at Coachella 2016

California’s biggest – and most stylish – festival is over for another year, throwing up some of the best summer-ready boho style we’ve seen so far. The festival, frequented by models, bloggers and celebrities, is known as being the most fashion-forward on the circuit – and with that desert Woodstock vibe, it’s easy to see why.

At Coachella 2016, the festival’s most stylish of attendees embraced that ’70s glam hippy look with crochet, paisely print and off-the-shoulder tops worn with ankle boots, gladiator sandals and simple espadrilles. There was also a move towards a ’70s rock band style aesthetic, with some of the best looks incorporating fringed denim jackets, band t-shirts, stars and stripes, and Americana cowboy boots (some even complete with the U.S. flag…)

This is a festival that has fun with fashion, with carefree looks that have us longing for summer. Take a look at our favourite looks from Coachella 2016 below, as taken by Diego Zuko for Harper’s Bazaar.

A fan of all things minimalist, I prefer to invest in a few simple pieces each season and am a big believer that you can never own too many pairs of black flats. I’m constantly on the search for the coolest new brands, so you’re most likely to find me surrounded by magazines when I’m not blogging. That, or binge watching Netflix.
