Traditionally considered outdoor attire for the countryside, Brogues were originally designed to protect feet from becoming sodden, the perforated holes letting out any water the shoe took in when one was out in the bogs.

This classic men’s brogue has all the care and attention we expect from Grenson, now however it comes in a lush suede finish. Soft navy suede creates a unique look and places this traditional shoe apart from all the rest.

With features such as leather stitching, cut-out detail patterns, lace fastening and now a Vibram sole, a new addition made to endure anything you can throw at it. This brogue will fit in perfectly at the office, and equally impress friends and strangers while out for drinks.

About Grenson

Mr William Green founded Grenson in 1866 in Northamptonshire, UK. They specialised in making high-quality men’s shoes. Initially the company was called Green & Son, before merging the names together to become Grenson. The factory which Mr Green opened in 1874 was the first in the world to use the Goodyear welting construction method, which is now a hallmark of all well-made British shoes. The business was sold in 1980 to the Purslow family who ran the business for nearly thirty years before selling it to Tim Little in 2010. Now an established shoe maker, Grenson still produce a high standard of shoes and boots for the uber stylish. -L.S
