My first loafer
I always wear 9.5 in shoes but in boots I wear a 9(42) I thought it a good idea for these too since they're leather and I was right. They fit great. About a half an inch short but not worth sending back to the UK. They're near perfect 9/10 in size. 10/10 Quality. Shipped out within 3 days of purchase. Got here in 3 days. Very fast shipping. The renaissance of Clarks .......
When I was young, Clarks was really the naff choice in footwear and only likely to be chosen by one's Mum for reasons of dull practicality. Consequently, I had ignored the brand for years but then I clocked the Citistrideslip loafer with its classic lines and subtle detailing ..... what finely honed leather, what a beauty ..... and the build ! This is shoemaking in the grand tradition, but with a rubber faced sole that avoids the need for ruinous all leather rebuilds. Comfort from the very first outing and bliss gliding over the pavements. Late in life, I am a Clarks convert, my only hope is that through Allsole you will be able to make this wondrous discovery earlier ....
