The AllSole AW18 Sneaker Update

When it comes to sneakers, we like to talk tactics here at AllSole. Without a doubt making up any smart casual look with a snazzy pair of sneakers is a trend that’s here to stay, so we’re here to nail down the brands, styles and trends to know in one easy list. From new iconic colourways at ethical wonder-brand Veja, to Old Skool classics from Vans, as well as some underground classics from the likes of ASICS, we think we have you covered from another season of sneaker madness.

For Women

We all know that chunky trainer trend is going nowhere, and with retro influence all over the shop at ASH, we all know the most Instagram trainer of this century is worth a shout.

Speaking of retro it’s certain a white plimsoll goes a long way, the perfect off duty essential but also a great update to a tailored suit, it’s hard to go wrong with this iconic style from ASICS.

Glitter? Check. Iconic stripes? Check. Sleek silhouette? Check. What’s not to love with this new season style from Paul Smith?

As colourways go Converse have it down, but even we think this might be their best combination yet. This season’s iconic One Star in Mica Green, Diffused Taupe and Egret (even the name sounds beautiful) is a must-have for the perfect blend of cute and comfy.

From their latest collection as seen on pop sensation Selena Gomez, Puma have dug in to the archives to reveal a new take on the classic ‘California Exotic’ silhouette. Originally released in 1983, the tennis-inspired silhouette and signature Puma swish are undoubtedly a timeless investment.

For Men

Delving in to the archives Converse brings the ultimate vintage vibes to the forefront of the sneaker game. In a 70s inspired mustard shade with retro Ox star branding, the ‘Star Player’ sneaker is a new AllSole fave.

The future is now and new-age sneaker trends are leading the way. With every sports and streetwear brand jumping on the bandwagon, we think ASICS might have changed the game with their newest ‘Gel-Lyte V Sanze’ style. This is one to watch.

It’s hard to beat a white plimsoll and we can’t help but shout about Veja. Offering technical support to organic cotton farming families in North Brazil, Veja line their sneakers in organic cotton and set them upon a wild rubber sole sourced from the Amazonian forest, you really know what you’re paying for with this ethical brand to watch.

The classic Sk8-hi gets a modern update of blue suede and yellow checkerboard canvas panels to introduce the 'Sk8-Hi BMX', a guilty pleasure if ever there was one.

For the smart casual sneaker wearer, and yes this does exist, we have the answer to your prayers in the form of new season Paul Smith. Made in all over suede with a clean cut silhouette and fine simplistic branding, this style can take you day-to-night or suit to slacks.

Follower of street style trends by the dozen, you'll never catch me in anything but trainers. Accessories and outerwear are my calling and in my eyes, there's no such thing as overdoing them.
